We formed this nonprofit organization partly because some twenty-two veterans commit suicide each month, and it is unacceptable to us that these brave men and women, our heroes, should sacrifice their lives because they cannot get the help needed to deal with their issues.

Some of us on the board have personally seen the mental effects of combat on our fellow servicemen or seen these effects on someone we love.

On too many occasions we have either personally witnessed or heard of the frustration that our veterans have finding the comfort and assistance needed to help them return to normal life after serving in combat.

Our mission is to raise public awareness of the issue, and work with local communities and businesses to not only honor our veterans, but to help us raise funds to provide services to assist them with their struggles.

We are working to make veterans aware of hotlines to call for immediate help, and resources available to assist them on the road back.

One example of our core services is providing veterans with Emotional Support Animals. We have seen first-hand how an ESA can help a veteran better deal with PTSD by becoming more active, getting out more socially, and having a loving friend by their side. We are actively working to be able
to provide these animals, they do - save lives!
